European-Inspired Kitchen in Oak Bay

Project description provided by Jason Rolstone. Photos by Dasha Armstrong.

Designed by Jason Rolstone of Thomas and Birch Kitchen and Bath Boutique, this custom built home in the heart of Oak Bay boasts custom millwork for a bright and airy Scandinavian feel. Built for a growing family, this culinary kitchen features Cabico cabinets based on their high quality craftsmanship and customization options. Flat-front cabinet doors in Benjamin Moore White Dove were chosen for the perimeter cabinets and pantry while white-washed white oak enhances the island. Bright white quartz countertops provide a durable work surface and reflect natural light around the room. The farmhouse sink paired with black hardware lends itself to a French provincial feel while the custom built two-toned hood with solid oak corbels elevates the kitchen’s sophistication. Premium-grade integrated appliances and range all by Monogram.
