The work of Joanna Drummond is endlessly evolving. Continuously pushing her discipline in new directions, Joanna is always ready to share her wisdom about life and creativity. In 1976, Joanna moved from Ontario to Alberta and was instrumental in the community arts scene. With her guidance and passion, she helped establish the thriving St Albert Potters Guild. During Joanna’s 30-year career, her work has been exhibited at The Mountain Galleries of Jasper, Banff, and Whistler. Her unique pieces have found homes all over the world. She has enjoyed numerous private and public gallery showings throughout Western Canada.
Taryn Brown was born in Oliver, BC where she studied art from a young age. At the age of 18, she was the featured cover artist of BC Art Teacher’s Magazine. She studied Art History at The University of Victoria and currently resides in Victoria where she teaches secondary school. Taryn also studied in Picasso’s birthplace, Malaga, Spain, at the Instituto Al-Andalus in 1998. She is an active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and is featured in galleries in Victoria, Nanaimo, Toronto, Calgary, and Vancouver. Taryn’s work has been featured in Homes and Living Magazine, Art Avenue Magazine, WHERE magazine, Focus Magazine, Dining Out magazine, as well as being featured on a local TV review.
