Award-winning painter Lisa Hebden was born and raised in Victoria BC. She wrote an essay about the importance of art in society that won her a scholarship to the University of Victoria, where she studied visual and creative writing for three years. Hebden transferred to the Nova Scotia College of Art & Design in Halifax where she earned two degrees simultaneously in Fine Arts and Graphic Design.
Her paintings can be found in private and corporate collections in Canada, the United States, Germany, and Australia.
