The creative duo behind Lamella, Victoria’s new premium hardwood flooring supplier, is Zech Inkster, owner of Plank and Saw, a boutique hardwood floor refinishing and installation company and Peter Morgan, an accomplished sales and business operations expert. Lamella has recently opened a beautifully-designed showroom on Herald Street in the heart of the vibrant design district.
Designed by Pamela Billinghurst Interior Design, the Lamella showroom itself is a sublime work of art featuring gallery-style samples on the walls, a custom display table and a stunning floor surface from WOODLife—which allows customers to feel and experience their products in real-life.
Lamella carries an exceptional selection of premium hardwood flooring products that include world-renowned Canadian suppliers Kentwood and Mercier, as well as holding the title as the exclusive supplier on Vancouver Island of WOODLife. Produced in the Netherlands, WOODlife is a custom-milled luxury flooring company that creates a variety of products including XXL size planks in unique wood species, not always available locally, such as beautiful slow-grown Douglas and European Oak.
