For Kelly Cruickshank and Darrell Pfeifer, buying furniture for their new condo, in the Promontory, took a lengthy three years to collect. The couple had been living in a house for many years when they decided to put a deposit on a condo on the 19th floor of the prestigious building in the heart of the Songhees Peninsula. Anticipating their new home for three years while it was being built, Cruickshank and Pfeifer sold their twenty-year-old, mostly traditional furniture and credit Studio Y Design with helping them fashion their new home in contemporary furnishings with a minimalist sensibility.
Realizing this would be their forever home, the couple invested in quality furnishings that would reflect their personal style. Considering the cost of the furniture in their home purchase, the couple furnished their entire condo, piece by piece, at Studio Y Design.
