CB1 Table

One of the world’s best known Industrial Designers of his time, Dieter Rams, said “Good design is as little design as possible,” and we couldn’t agree more. Designed by Kirk Van Ludwig at Autonomous Furniture Collective, the CB1 table ignites the senses and pushes the design boundaries of the live edge table movement. A modern counterpoint to the western maple tabletop, transparent lucite legs free up visual space while allowing the sustainably sourced maple to take centre stage.

Lucite was a break-through polymer in the 1930’s and used in multiple applications from airplane windshields to handbags and jewelry. Think durable. A mid-century modern throwback to the ‘less is more’ Scandinavian aesthetic, the acrylic is strategically positioned with the tabletop to maximize seating on this uber-mod dining table. With grain on the bias and hybrid natural edges, the nine foot slab of maple is perfect for intimate dinners or large gatherings of friends and family.
